Pop-pop's Quilt

Mr. Robert A. Brown our beloved father and Pop-Pop.

I have been working on a memorial quilt for some time. It is emotional to work on something so close to the heart. I was given his shirts by my mother in law and have tried to make a quilt that shows and celebrates his life. These are pictures of my progress.
All my ideas come from things I saw on Pinterest.

The plan!

I cut up the shirt fronts and collars, reattaching them to look like they are folded.

I used the twisted tool on this part to look like airplane propellers.

This is the center of the quilt.

I quilted it as I went. I am not a quilter. I am a seamstress.

The train source.

Binding ready to go.

All Finished! Just in time for Christmas.
