Putting all the Blocks together.

All 20 Blocks finished.

I pressed and squared up all my blocks. I found that 3 of them were not 12 1/2 inches square. I used my sashing fabric to add to the blocks to make them bigger so that all the blocks are the same size. Not too bad for me. 

I am playing around with the layout. Does it matter on a sampler quilt? I know that I want to make it pleasing to the eye. I am putting the ones that do not have my background fabric in it and darker in the four corners. After that I placed them randomly.

Jean told us to do light and dark pattern to our layouts of the quilts. So I enjoyed playing with my cameras filters. 

On to sashing and cornerstones...
