Bee Mug Rug

This bee mug rug I made for a friend who is getting into bee keeping (and she is loving it). 

I used a paper piecing pattern I found here...free bee pattern.

It was fun to make and try out paper piecing. It is not a beginner block but I did OK on it. I did use the method I learned from Sugaridoo...

I truly enjoy her VLOG. I wish I had a studio, maybe one day!
