Quilting Time
Make a quilt top...CHECK!
I have my backing together!
Now to baste this thing.
I chose to spray baste my quilt as that was the least scary for me.
And the quilting begins.
Quilting DONE!
Binding made and pressed.
TADA!!! as Jean says.
The backing is directional with roses and butterflies.
All the fabric for my quilt top was from my stash of fabric leftovers from dresses and other things I have made. Also fabric given to me by my friends who are down sizing their stashes. The backing I got at Joann Fabrics from the clearance area and even with more then half off it was still $7 a yard. (But it feels wonderful.)
I am grateful to Jean Truelove for doing this Block Party 2018 as it gave me a chance to learn new skills and make something for myself!
